During a camping trip in the mountains of Georgia (peach state not the country), we found ourselves gathered around a campfire.The spot was secluded and deep in the forest. Our rigs were parked next to a stream and we were surrounded by great company.

One of the topics of conversation that came up was that of finding a nice and capable vehicle that offered a relatively low entry point into adventure touring aka overlanding. We determined that there is a misconception that you need a brand new $50k+ vehicle with $20k worth of upgrades to get started.

We also discussed how there is a gap within the parts market and how most stores only offer a limited selection of parts, or they throw every and any part they can think of up on the site in hopes of seeing what sells. Essentially, one left you wanting more and the latter hopes to catch any fish in the stream - there were very few offering a tailored shopping experience or a carefully curated assortment of parts.
